Talk It Out- This Present Darkness,  Wk 4
These questions and thoughts are designed to help you create connection in your Community Group.

*Start Talking: Find a conversation starter for your group from the following questions…

-  What was the worst style choice you ever made?

-  If you were famous, what would you be famous for?

*Weekend Recap:
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 (ESV)

There is a FIGHT for our lives! Satan’s desire is to: kill, steal, and destroy. (John 10:10) God didn’t leave us alone to fight on our own.  As we continue to take a look at spiritual warfare, we took a look at the secrets of a victor.

God’s word is always our greatest strength.
2. Maintain vigilance.
3. Victory comes with consistency.
4. Feed the right dog.
5. You weren’t designed to fight on your own.

God has designed your life to live with HIS POWER working within you. And, not just power, EXPLOSIVE POWER!

“Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.” Ephesians 6:10 TPT

*Discussion Points:
What do you feed yourself with to help on the battlefield?

What area(s) of your life do you lack consistency?

Don’t let the devil trick you into thinking that you can battle on your own. You need to surround yourself with community and stay plugged into church so you can grow and strengthen your battle armor. How do you surround yourself with positive community that can help keep you encouraged during a battle?

*End in Prayer:
Take some time to pray together as a group- share requests/needs/praises.  You can pray in smaller groups of 2 or 3, or all together. Take turns praying for one another and encourage one another to pray throughout the week for all things. Commit to praying for each other this week.
