“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:3-6 NIV
Today's Gratitude Challenge:
The Apostle Paul had an amazing habit that we can find as we look deeper into his writings…it was his gratitude. He knew what mattered and how to keep his perspective from falling into the hands of griping and complaining. In this passage, Paul finds thanksgiving in remembrance. Allowing his mind to think about the good he saw in those back in the Philippian church. Ask God to reveal to you someone that has helped you in the past when it comes to your relationship with Jesus. Maybe someone who prayed with you. Maybe someone who discipled you. Maybe someone that stuck with you. Take the time today send them a text, find their physical address and write them a note, shoot an email or give them a call and thank them for the investment of time and care they poured into your life. The gift of remembrance…
