TRUST

“Trust in the Lord with all your hear and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

Trust in the Lord; So many times we as humans like to put all of the weight on ourselves and do things on our own. We feel comforted that we were able to claim with truth that we did everything on our own, that we were able to accomplish something without the help of someone else. However, in doing so, there is always a void that isn’t filled when you accomplish that; the spiritual bond between you and Christ. No actual motivation is acquired because we solely relied on ourselves to accomplish everything on our own, that we lost how to stay supported and have a firm foundation through Christ. Through Him, ALL things are possible, but without, everything falls short. Think about it; when have you been able to do everything on your own without an emotion building up? Whether it be stress, doubt, or even greed, we as humans are not capable of handling every situation or completing a task spiritually alone. There has to be a back bone that won’t snap under pressure, one that can make and mend without giving in to concaving, and thankfully there is. Through the strength of Christ, dying to ourselves and giving and living His life for us, we are able to break the shackles of negative independence. Through His love, we are able to no longer worry about what we can’t physically achieve, for the better, there are no boundaries and there are no negative emotions. Trust in God that everything in life will go as planned, not in your eyes but in His. Die to yourself and allow Christ to fully work through you. Through Him, we can do all things, and that’s not a gimmick; understand the power of words and speak the Truth upon your life through Christ. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Trust in the Lord with all you do.
