During the month of November, we are going to partner up with our Gratitude Challenge and find ways daily to make thankfulness a lifestyle. You can connect on the APP or web under Devotionals for a shorter version of each day's challenge or stick with a little more content on the Daily Devos. Challenge yourself to live a lifestyle of GRATITUDE!
“Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, ‘children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.’” 1 Timothy 2:14-15 NIV
It’s easy to find the things to grumble about in life. We are unfortunately quick to see the things that we don’t like most often than what we do appreciate. Often the things we see day after day are what we can find fault at most often. Your challenge is to force yourself today to find more things to praise God about than complain. For every thought that you can grab a hold of that seems to discourage or depress you or is drenched in criticism counteract that with a thought of something you are thankful for.
If you are up for it take a journal and write down the things you complain about mentally the most. Whatever they may be. Then, make a list with the same amount of listed things that are blessings in your life. Even if they are small, allow that list to grow. Train your mind to not only see the things that need to be changed or fixed but the things that are the small blessing in the everyday.
Today's FOCUS: Set your mind on the GOOD all around you.
